Installation & Notes

Replacement Strategy: When swapping this into a USDM WRX, you must use your original intake & exhaust manifolds, coil packs, spark plugs, cam gears, engine harness. Because this is Dual AVCS, many installers choose to leave the exhaust AVCS unplugged if the USDM ECU does not support it, or upgrade to a JDM ECU/Standalone for full functionality.

Turbo Setup: If your WRX uses a single-scroll turbo, you may need to swap your original exhaust manifold and oil pan/pickup to match.

Required Maintenance: We recommend a new timing belt kit, water pump, and fresh spark plugs before installation.
