The L15BE is a precision-engineered direct-injection motor. To ensure a successful swap and maintain your warranty, please adhere to these technical guidelines:

Long Block Conversion: This sale includes the engine block, cylinder head, and internal rotating assembly. You must transfer your original USDM turbocharger, intake manifold, alternator, and wiring harness. Using your original harness ensures 100% communication with your vehicle’s ECU and prevents "Check Engine" lights.

Oil Dilution Prevention: Since these engines are known for fuel-in-oil dilution in cold climates, we recommend updating your PCM (Powertrain Control Module) to the latest Honda software version immediately after installation.

Fuel System Integrity: Always retain your original USDM high-pressure fuel pump and injectors. If the donor JDM engine includes injectors, they must be coded to your ECU or swapped for your originals to avoid rough idle and misfires.

Essential Maintenance: We strongly recommend replacing the following parts during the swap:

Spark Plugs: NGK Laser Iridium (DILKAR8P8SY) — crucial for preventing pre-ignition in turbo models.

Engine Oil: 0W-20 Full Synthetic Oil (0W-20 is mandatory for the VTC system).

Oil Filter: Genuine Honda (15400-PLM-A02).

Turbo Cooling: Flush all coolant lines leading to the turbocharger. Trapped air in the turbo cooling jacket can cause localized overheating and premature bearing failure.

ECU Reset: Use a professional scan tool to perform a "Crank Pattern Learn" and reset the "Maintenance Minder" so the vehicle can accurately track the life of the new motor.
